On January 1st, 2020, the formerly institution called Université de Cergy-Pontoise becomes CY Cergy Paris Université with its merge with the School of Engineering EISTI, the COMUE Paris Seine (a cluster of universities and institutions of higher education). The newly created university also integrates two graduate schools ILEPS (sport and education) and EPSS (social work). The university is located in the west of Paris, in the Vel-d’Oise department, and currently has 25,000 students. CY Cergy is one of the top public universities in France and thanks to its collective dynamism and its center of gravity located at the heart of the youngest department of France, CY Cergy Paris Université is firmly focused on the future of an international and diversity-oriented university that is also focused on society.

Course Offerings
The Course Catalogue can be found here. To set up a study plan interested exchange students must contact the academic coordinator or referent teacher at CY Cergy Paris University. More information can be found here. There are a number of courses offered in English, please contact the academic coordinator for more information. Not all courses offered in English are available every semester, and there is no guarantee that the courses will be able to accommodate exchange students, possibly making it difficult to enroll in a full-load of English-language law courses.
Students may not transfer foreign language or other non-law courses taken at the partner exchange school back to Miami Law for J.D. credit. If a student enrolls in such courses, they understand they are for self-interest only and will not be considered for transfer towards their J.D. degree.
