LLM Orientation

The University of Miami School of Law's faculty and administration look forward to welcoming you as a new member of our law school. We are excited to have you join our community. Your orientation serves as an introduction to your classmates, faculty and other members of the Miami Law family.

The Lawyer Education and Professionalism (LEAP) Orientation is designed to introduce you to everything Miami Law has to offer, including our world-class educational programs, our law school culture, and our alumni and community connections.

All Orientation events are mandatory unless otherwise indicated.

Living Law Talks

Living Law” is a series of concurrent 10-minute faculty talks that give students an opportunity to consider how the law they will begin learning plays out in real life.  The talks also give faculty and students an opportunity to meet each other before class start, and to begin developing mentoring relationships based on shared interests at the very start of the school year.
