Mary Teresa "Terri" Doud is an adjunct professor in the J.D. Program and Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law LL.M. Program.
Professor Doud was formerly Senior Corporate Counsel for Bacardi U.S.A., Inc., where she provided primary legal support for advertising and marketing to the North American region, including coverage for intellectual property, licensing, branded entertainment, beverage alcohol regulation, and other legal issues.
Prior to Bacardi, Professor Doud was an Associate with Dow Lohnes in Washington, D.C. in the Intellectual Property/Media & Information Technologies Group. She also worked at the firm of Dechert in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, with a focus on copyright and intellectual property law.
She was a Fulbright Fellow, is fluent in French and is admitted to the Bar in Maryland and D.C. Professor Doud holds a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.A. from Bryn Mawr College. Professor Doud earned her J.D. in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
