Roy Black is a partner at Black, Srebnick, Kornspan & Stumpf, P.A. With more than 35 years of trial experience, he has handled hundreds of cases throughout the United States in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. Prior to his private practice, Black served five years as a public defender in Miami-Dade County representing hundreds of indigent defendants in felony and capital cases. Black has taught advanced criminal evidence at the University of Miami School of Law for more than 30 years. Black has been awarded the Dade County Bar Association's Criminal Justice Award and has been named to the Best Lawyers in America list since 1987. He holds Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Miami. Black teaches Criminal Evidence, a workshop that uses mock trials to teach tactics and strategies of the rules of evidence.
