Ronaldo Porto Macedo Júnior holds a PhD in Philosophy and Legal Theory (University of Sào Paulo Law School - FDUSP, 1997), a Masters of Philosophy (University of São Paulo – USP, 1993), and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (1985) and Social Sciences (1987) from USP.
He has been a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, a Visiting Researcher at Yale Law School, and a Post-Doctorate Fellow at King’s College School of Law. He is Professor of Political Philosophy and Legal Theory at São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (DIREITO GV), Professor of Legal Philosophy and Legal Theory at FDUSP, and State Prosecutor in São Paulo. He has also been Professor at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London (2008-2009), “Kwa Geok Choo Distinguished Visitor” junto a Faculty of Law da National University of Singapore, (2013). and Comissioner at the Brazilian Administrative Counsel of Economic Defense (CADE). He currently teaches Legal Theory, Ethics, Law and Development and Philosophy of Law.
