Jack Winston has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate development field, and his involvement in a wide range of complex projects throughout the country has made him a nationally recognized real estate expert. He is a principal at Goodkin Consulting, is an architect and urban planner with significant experience in the real estate development field and is a nationally recognized real estate expert. Mr. Winston's real estate firm, The Winston Group, completed various real estate acquisitions assignments for such clients as: Arvida, WCI, Turnberry Associates, Lennar, Kitson Partners/Morgan Stanley, and Codina/J.P. Morgan.
He has practiced architecture, and operated his own residential building company in New York. Winston has held senior management positions with the largest homebuilders in the world, and owned one of the largest homebuilding companies in the Miami area. He works as a senior consultant at Goodkin Consulting, a real estate and financial industry consulting company. In addition, Winston is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. He has been a visiting professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Studies at Florida Atlantic University's Joint Center for Urban Studies, and a visiting professor in the Masters Program of the School of Architecture at Florida International University. He has also been an instructor for the Department of Building Construction at the State University of New York.
At Miami Law Mr. Winston teaches Introduction to Real Estate Development and a Real Estate Project Development workshop in the Graduate Program in Real Property Development.
