David Chase is the principal of David R. Chase, P.A., and has extensive background in securities litigation. His firm focuses on securities fraud investigations and litigation. Prior to opening his own firm, Mr. Chase formerly held the position of Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he investigated and prosecuted numerous complex, multi-million dollar securities frauds. He started his career at Greenberg Traurig, a national law firm, defending large brokerage houses in securities matters and also worked as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Economic Crimes Division of the United States Attorney's Office. He has also served as Chairman of the Securities Litigation Committee of the Dade County Bar Association, and as Co-Chair of the Securities Enforcement Subcommittee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. At Miami Law Mr. Chase teaches Securities Enforcement Litigation.
