Alison Weinger

Alison Weinger is a solo practitioner, working as a mediator. Ms. Weinger's practice includes family, civil and federal cases. She previously worked at as a Miami-Dade County Mediator where she was responsible for family and circuit court mediation and training new mediators. Ms. Weinger received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin in 1977 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1980. Ms. Weinger was previously the President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers in Miami Dade County. She has also been selected as the top 500 Judges/Mediators in America by LAWDRAGON in 2006. Ms. Weinger teaches Family Mediation Workshop, a workshop that introduces students to the theory and practice of family mediation. In addition, the course provides exposure to cutting edge areas of family law including collaborative family law, assisted reproductive technology cases, cultural competency, and international family law.
