Adam Schlatner is an attorney at Cozen O’Connor where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, representing clients in a wide range of matters including contract, securities, labor and employment, shareholder, products liability, antitrust, consumer fraud and IP cases, as well as corporate internal investigations. His practice has included the representation of executives in a variety of director and officer liability cases, including securities class and derivative litigation, internal, governmental and regulatory investigations, and other contexts.
Recently, Schlatner has handled consumer products, financial services, sports, real estate, accounting, construction, executive compensation, software, oil and gas leasing, and insurance matters. He also has extensive experience in both corporate and real estate transactional matters, and has handled a variety of sports-related matters on behalf of teams, owners, agents and athletes.
Schlatner earned his B.A., with honors from State University of New York at Binghamton in political science and his J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, graduating cum laude. At Miami Law, he co-teaches a short course on Representing the Professional Sports Franchise.
