Individual Counseling: Advisors meet with students and alumni to review résumés and cover letters, conduct mock interviews, and talk about career goals. If you don't have time to meet with an advisor, just drop off your résumé or cover letter with the CDO and come back in 24 hours to pick up an edited version.
Job Postings: The CDO maintains an online database of current legal employment opportunities for students and alumni.
Job Search Timelines:
Mentoring Programs: The CDO works with the South Florida legal community to provide students with networking and mentoring opportunities. Such events include the Career Fair, Speed Networking Event, and Employer Appreciation Reception.
On Campus Recruiting: The CDO coordinates on campus job interviews for current students in the Fall and Spring semesters.
CDO Symplicity Library: The CDO Symplicity Library provides job search related materials including employment opportunities, application forms, and employer information.

Resource Library: The CDO Resource Library contains career books, interview guides, alumni contacts, and other useful publications.
Other Resources: At the CDO, you will find computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and video conferencing tools. These resources are free to students and alumni for use in their job search.
