Rise to the Challenge and Double Your Impact

To offset the rising costs of providing a superior legal education, we must increase scholarship support for our students. The Chaplin Challenge will match dollar for dollar each new eligible contribution made to new or existing scholarship funds, as long as funds are available.

* The Chaplin Challenge will match only NEW contributions for scholarships. New multi-year pledges to establish new scholarships are eligible with certain limitations. Payments made on existing pledges do not qualify for the match.

Wayne Chaplin, J.D. '82With funds made available through the generosity of UM Trustee Wayne Chaplin, JD '82, Chair of both the School of Law's Momentum2 and Visiting Committees, Miami Law has launched the Chaplin Challenge and is seeking the support of its alumni and friends. The Chaplin Challenge will be used as a match to double any new donation directed to scholarships.

Textbook with money

Legal education is expensive. Nearly 3/4 of our students borrow heavily in order to finance their education. The average Miami Law student will graduate with more than $125,000 in debt. Scholarship assistance is essential at this time. We need your support to be able to offer students the extraordinary opportunities and education that come from being enrolled at Miami Law.
